I have been to ginger hill many times and Denny is one of the most welcoming and attentive bartenders i have ever had. his signature backwards hat and kindness make the tavern a better experience for everyone. If more bartenders could be like Denny the world would be a better place.

We had lunch, I had the chef salad. My wife had cajan steak salad. We also ordered a large Greek pizza and had drinks. Great experience.

Erica is the worst bartender I've ever met. She is pretentious, obnoxious, and just downright rude. I no longer give my business here solely because I can't stand her. She once left the bar to come to my table and confront me because I told another employee that she wouldn't be getting a tip because of her lack of manners. I've never been to a business where an employee gets in the face of a customer over honest feedback and still keeps their job. Another time she cut me off when I had done absolutely nothing but keep to myself and watch the game. She makes a personal opinion on customers and treats them accordingly rather than treating them all equally. It is a total mystery to me how she has not been fired for her behavior. Ginger Hill is not a bad spot to hit up at all, but she ruins it for me personally. I stopped giving my business after 5 years of stopping in 2-3 nights a week.

Stopped here 2 times while in the Slippery Rock area. A very nice place to eat and grab a drink. The food is very good and the service is top notch. Specifically we were at the bar and Erica was amazing. You have a true gem of an employee with her. Attentive, friendly, welcoming, and a great job. Don’t know if we will be back in the area but if we are we will definitely return.
