Best animal hospital around. Took such great care of my really sick cat. I went in expecting the worst since Lala is old. They were so gentle with her, very thorough as well. After 2 visits LaLa is so much better. Just a little hyperthyroidism, that can be treated with a monthly prescription. I am so pleased to live right down the street.

I used to work at both river oaks and pet paradise and I would love to give some insight to why you should chose this clinic for your animals care. The first thing to understand is in order for your animal to receive the best medicine possible diagnostic testing is necessary. Please know that treatment plans are presented to you with the costs of the testing and treatment because, we want to be as open and honest with you about the value of the treatment. Basically, what your paying for and why. If you decline testing or diagnostics it does make it harder to treat as accurately as needed. We also understand that medicine can be expensive. Both doctors work very hard to give the best treatment they can advise even if funds are limited, this is a quality I truly appreciated because for them it’s all about your fur-baby! Second, please always have records. It is important that we understand your pet from the inside out. We want to make sure we are providing the best care and baseline values and history is the best way for that. Third and last, Dr. Ortiz, Dr. Carter and the rest of the staff are highly qualified in animal care and will not guide you the wrong way. They care for you and your fur-baby! This has been the best clinic I have personally experienced and recommended it strongly!
