Male 25 years old - Had my Rhinoplasty about 2 months ago. Was very nervous about picking the right surgeon and couldn't have been more glad with my choice. I had a dorsal hump reduction and a correction of a very deviated septum. Both changes went great and and very pleased with my result! Yes, you can often have rhinoplasty performed for both cosmetic and medical purposes within the same surgery. Many people choose to correct breathing issues, sinus concerns, and more as part of cosmetic rhinoplasty. Dr. Sinno and Dr. Mustoe will discuss these possibilities with you during your consultation as you plan your surgery together.
An expertly performed rhinoplasty will not change your face as much as it will enhance or elevate it. Dr. Sinno and Dr. Mustoe focus on creating “transparent” results—results that flatter and complement your natural appearance without creating an obvious surgically altered look. After a successful nose surgery, you may find you look even more like “you” than you did before.
During your rhinoplasty, you will be placed under local anesthesia with sedation to keep you comfortable and relaxed. It is normal to feel some soreness in the week or so following your surgery, but most people find this is easily managed with over-the-counter pain relief medication. People often say the process was less painful than they had anticipated.
