Living at Lake & Wells for 1.5 years was a great experience. The units and amenities are updated and maintained well. The staff is friendly and I loved the Fetch package system. I also really enjoyed the outdoor space, but it seems they recently implemented a 10:00pm curfew, which kinda stunk when I just wanted to stay sitting outside a little longer while the weather was nice. Other than not having a nearby grocery store, living right by the river was awesome. I would absolutely recommend Lake & Wells if you are looking to live in this area. If you ever have someone with a car visiting, the garage is on SpotHero!

Fire pit has been broken for months if not over a year and amenities close at 10pm. Location is pretty great as far as having quick access to downtown, and West Loop locations by walking. By nature of being downtown sometimes we have had to deal with crazy nights (several nights ago someone broke into the parking garage for the apartment and sprayed a bunch of cars including mine with fire extinguisher dust), sirens constantly and the L roaring by which affects us negatively-Apartments only have single pane windows making for very loud days and nights. Maintenance and upkeep of the building and apartments is phenomenal and have always fixed things quickly and they keep the property very clean.

Called at 7:38 8-13-22 letting the front desk know that there was a package for a resident at the residential building I work at and he was very rude but thankfully I was able to help that resident obtain his package

Lake and Wells was a great building when I lived there for a year. The staff was friendly, the amenities were enjoyable, and it's close to every single thing you'd want to be close to if you desire living in the Loop. My apartment certainly wasn't the most updated and didn't have the most fancy features, but the floor to ceiling windows made up for a lot of that. Overall I'd recommend Lake and Wells for anyone looking to live in this area.
