This is a really good beach to visit! The rocks here are really cool. Especially the yooperlites that you can find at night, illuminated by a UV light.

Near camping grounds. We stopped for the day and practically had the beach to ourselves. Drove to the turnaround and parked. Small creek to cross and it's rock heaven.

This is one of those places you want to keep to yourself. Middle of nowhere, primitive camping, but amazing location on the shores of the greatest lake in the world! There are very nice day spots right on the shore, if primitive camping seems like a stretch. Gotta see this place! Oh, one more thing, did you know the stars are unbelievable up here?! Very dark = many stars!

Very beautiful place to see lake superior, nice relaxing out of the way beach. Has a trail that would allow a wheelchair but isn't easy to traverse for a manual pushed one.
