This was great trail!! We had never been on it before. It's got hills and I love that the trail is only wide enough for one person to trek it. The views were beautiful!!! We are coming back when it's warmer out. Be prepared to run into 4 wheelers on the road and the road to it is not paved.

Not for the out of shape person. 3 miles seemed like 10 to this old gal! Very narrow trail with many exposed roots on the path. I would recommend taking a small folding stool in case you need a rest as there are no stumps or fallen trees to rest on. It is a beautiful forest. Met several people taking their dogs for a hike. Nice trail for that.

We had a great early afternoon hike through the lines and hardwoods. There a nice little trail that leads to the east branch of Wolf Creek too! Check it out. The 3 mile hike takes about an hour and includes some elevation changes, so be ready to hike up and down a little.

Very remote and deep in the woods so there was no road noise. Just us and nature. With that said since we hiked in summer the bugs were very prevalent. So bring your bug spray and even a mosquito net if you have one
