Pharmacy closes in middle of day for "lunch", even though they have a multi team staff in the pharmacy. Obviously customer service is not a priority there

Wow. Guess I should have read the reviews before trying to get some help here. Did you know they allow people to purchase up to SIX at-home Covid tests at a time? Called and spoke to LEAH. I wanted to make sure the stock was accurate on the CVS app. Me: “hello, just want to make sure you do have the Binax now Covid test kits in stock. It is saying you do online.” Leah: “yes we do, but it’s a different brand and it’s limited stock.” Me: “ok, so if I come in right now I can get one?” Leah: “no, we don’t have any.” Me: “but you just said you had some.” Leah: “yeah we have limited stock” Me: “oooook… I can be there in 10 minutes would you mind putting one aside for me?” Leah; “no I can’t do that.” Me: “my grandmothers very sick I would really appreciate if you could put one aside for me.” Leah; “no” So I hung up and rushed over there. Wouldn’t you know it as soon as I walked in Leah looked at me with a condescending smirk on her face and when I told her I was there for the Covid home kits she says, “we just ran out.” I wouldn’t be surprised if she took all of them and hid them behind the counter. She then says, “customers are allowed to take up to 6 tests so someone just took all the rest of what we had.” First, I call BS. Second, they limited toilet paper for gods sake but Covid tests aren’t limited for purchase? I then asked if she could please find out where I can get one. She says, “we’re all out in the whole district.” Not sure how she knows that by just looking at me and not actually making any calls or doing some research for me. This is not a joke and not something to be taking so lightly. I am absolutely disgusted by Leah and her lack of empathy and customer service. Zero stars.

I wish I could give negative rating. I usually do not write online reviews and this is my first google review. In this particular case, I could not stop myself writing this review. This branch is the worst among all CVS in the Andover area. Extremely rude, incompetent and discriminatory staff and do not know how to deal with customers. I visited there for Covid booster shot and waited for almost an hour for the shot and did not get it. Finally, I had to cancel the appointment and visited another location in order to get the shot. I stood in the line after they checked me in. My appointment was at 5pm and I was there well before my scheduled appointment. People coming after me were getting shot while I kept waiting in the line. When I checked with the person, who was delivering the shot, why I am not getting the shot while people coming after me are getting it, he simply said that you are not showing up in my system. If I was not in their system, how come they checked me in? Seems, the guy who was giving shot picking his friends and relatives first and was careless about other customers. If their system is messed up, it is not my fault. They should realize the mistake and give me the shot as the next person standing in the line and waiting. I am not visiting this location again. Staff at this location needs serious training.

I want to love this location, it's closest to my home, but unfortunately I will go out of my way to pick another CVS. I use coupons, and since this location has changed their makeup department into some "beauty consultant" place, it's not the same. There are advertised deals in the CVS ad, that they don't even carry the products since the beauty dept. changed. Also, when using coupons, the cashier actually voided one in front of me saying it can't be used...when the register had no problems taking it. I now take my business, and prescriptions to N.Andover location.
