Me and my roommates were moved out 8 months ago, and it took us forever to get our security deposit back! Like forever! They reply the email with same question every single time, even we give them answers thousands times already, and always took forever they have the email back! And now, we got security deposit back, BUT BUT BUT with wrong $$$$, how is that happen the building give us wrong deposit and told us that was correct!!! They still have to return us back more deposit, but I think maybe still have to take another 8 months or more to let them figure out! Such a bad experience here.

I'm currently live in the building. The next door was facing leakage. The building handyman keeps doing repair work in midnight and it has been few days!!! It is 1 am now!!! IDK why they can't do earlier!!!! It is very noisy and they speak loudly as well! The daily maintenance is terrible. The hallways are always dirty and smelly especially the 4th floor. Every time I go to GYM it is super disgusting. The refuse room is always full of garbage and no cleaned often.

The building responds very efficiently. However, the maintenance service is not pleasant. They broke in without asking permission and they just complained that "I used to be nice until you asian came in." And they even broke our door lock. I don't recommand any family with children or any female who lives alone to live here.

Terrible management. Used to be better under Ollie a few years ago but under Common they've reached new depths. I don't know a single person in the building who's happy with living here. The internet is slow and keeps going down, the wait for the elevators is long every single time when they're actually functioning, the management adds on fees for everything under the sun, and forget about your deposit. The rooftop is closed at their whims. The social events that you pay $80 per person for are almost non existent. Stay away, you'll find way better deals elsewhere.

The windows and walls are pretty well set up. We're higher up, and can hear the trains - but it's no where near the noise level outside the building. The gym is nearly eye level with the tracks and it's not much of an issue there. I think they took sound mitigation into mind when building the units facing the tracks.
I was afraid everyday and everytime after this happen. And could not sleep well. I’m afraid that people broke my door and come in.

The terraces I believe are still under construction, but are supposed to be ready some time in the spring (last I heard). The rooftop lounge at least is open, though you cannot yet go out onto the terrace area.
No. This building ALTA LIC has strong and persisting cigarette odor in unit. I'm a current resident. I filed the complaint with management office and I've been communicating with them back and forth for over a month about this issue. As of now, no effective action has been taken. I've developed serious nasal problem because of the heavy cigarette odor. I'm not the only one in building having such problem.
