The stay wasn't overly horrible however I feel there was some points that need to be aired. We were never told us that you had to order housekeeping at the front desk when needed. When we did order it at the front desk, it never happened. We spent time hunting down washclothes and towels and getting someone to empty our trash. We finally was able to locate a housekeeping employee who was very very nice and helpful toward the end of our week long stay. Out of curiosity if you plan on doing business this way, why not make "Housekeeping" placards you can hang on the doors, like the "Do Not Disturb" one you currently have. Also we booked the week long room a month in advance, when we get there the bed skirt was stained (looked like a dog relieved himself), we found shoes, socks and a usb cable from previous occupants under the edge of the bed, and on top of that we had to get out of the room for a couple hours while they shampoo the carpet!? On the positive side the people were pleasant, saying good morning and good afternoon, and the breakfast served was very edible as well. The coffee was outstanding. If the service was as good as the coffee, I'd nominate this place for an award.

Hotel personnel were great, friendly, upbeat and always helpful. It was truly a joy to stay at this Hampton. Rooms and hotel were clean and in very good order. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a room in the area.

I have been staying at this Hampton Inn for 13 years. I’ve recommended it to many friends and family. The staff has always been friendly and the hotel has always been spotless up until my most recent stay. The hotel was not nearly as clean as it normally is. I was disappointed with the reception at the front desk staff. In the past they have always been very friendly but during this stay they never took the time to even say hello as we walked by many times during our stay. I want to mention that there was gentleman working in the breakfast. He was extremely kind and friendly. I have never had an experience like this at this Hampton Inn and I’m very disappointed. We decided that on our next visit to Syracuse we will be trying a different hotel.

The hotel was disgusting. We were very disappointed with that, based on how much we paid. The pool and hot tub were horrific. You couldn’t even see the bottom of the pool, it was so cloudy. There were nasty things floating in both the pool and hot tub. The floors throughout the entire hotel were wet. There were kids running up and down the halls screaming and slamming doors. The staff was nice, but there was a severe lack of cleaning throughout the entire hotel. The bathrooms in the rooms were also gross and we found mold in our shower. By far one of the worst hotels we have stayed at.
