Actually any any time, i thought it would be packed in the summer especially in july, but it wasn't. Ive gone every month with my boys, including winter, and its never packed. But to see all that they have, June through September, is the best.

No. Pets are not allowed in the zoo, and there is no kennel facility. Better to leave ruff at home.

There are small charges for feeding or pet events, riding the train, etc. Currently the Blank Park Zoo doesn't offer any "all inclusive" membership pass. However, members do receive discounts for many of those feeding interactions, riding the train, etc. You can see all of the benefits listed on their website.

Not sure what you're asking about, but it's $14 to get in. To feed the animals it's only a dollar for a small cup of feed. Unfortunately when we were there the train wasn't going.

I am not sure of what you mean. Any age visitor can visit the penguins or any exhibit. The whole zoo is best for young children. Sometimes the public can help feed some animals for a fee, that may have a minimal age.

I think so! Some aninals aren't out when it's cold, but the crowds are way less and the Discovery Center is still open. The train and carosel aren't running until April though, as far as I know.

They have an indoor discovery center with a coral reef and some jungle habitats. I hey also have an heated tiger viewing area and an shelter viewing area for the Lions. The seals viewing area is heated in the winter ( one of my favorite places to go in DSM too feel some summer during the winter.) And if the garaffes and Rino's are inside there is viewing inside thier habitat as well.

There are seal feedings usually. We have only been once so not sure if there are any others but seal feedings for sure. It's a lot of fun. The kids really enjoy the camel rides.
