Trying to get ahold of someone to look into where my package is and why it is lost. Hasn’t arrived for 7 days now past the delivery date. Would like some real help besides an automated system or a “case number”

I have called this facility before and actually talked to someone a couple of times and had some help. This time it says mail box full and hangs up. Last time I asked for a call back..never received one..or no voice mail for sure. I need help on a package that was last scanned there. For some reason this repeat buyers mail gets hung up from Des Moines to Ocean City, MD and packages take anywhere from 5 to 20 days to get there but this one tops them all. I think people deserve an answer on the mail they send whether First Class or Priority. USPS has raised rates 3 times this year, the stamp who knows how many times, International shipping and basically everything else and to top it off slowed First Class Mail down by 2 days on West & East Coast, send packages 800 miles past destination and wonder why they are losing $. I DONT GET IT! WAITING FOR AN ANSWER FROM NDC in Urbandale? 24 days now on this package! Someone needs to find & deliver it..and contact me please! Case re routed from Maryland offices. They lost it.
It the main distribution hub from there it goes to downtown then to Carroll
Call P&DC downtown and asked to speak with a supervisor
Because all packages need to be sorted by destination, and then transferred to the post office. After the package is dropped off/picked up it goes to a sort facility, then either travel in transit or heads to your local post office. They don't have the ability to sort packages at the post office because all of them are going to different places. I've had packages from Chicago go past the Quad Cities to Des Moines, and then go Back to the Quad Cities to be delivered. Based on your zip code, the Des Moines NDC (Network Distribution Center) is where your packages are sorted. Hope this helps.
