I love the Nerds! I hadn't needed service in several months. Recently, computer and my Smart phone got very sluggish. I contacted the Nerds online. They worked for 6 hours removing a whopping 1, 087 threats in the form off bugs, malware, infections, viruses and whatever else evil people perpetrate on complete strangers when they could spend time contributing to society. But, I digress. I tried the other guys and was sorely disappointed. For a very reasonable fee of $150.00 every six months, your valuable equipment will be serviced by the best in the business. The Nerds Computer Repair will get you up and running without your having to leave your home or office. I highly recommend them.

I’m certain the machine could be taken apart to give you access to the disk. Perhaps some small tweezers? I’m surprised a sewing shop wouldn’t be able to retrieve the disk. It might be worth calling around, perhaps in Sacramento if you strike out in Chico.

Yes, we do. It would be best to work with your ISP first to make sure there isn't a service issue in your area. (It's usually the first thinge we do anyway.) If your ISP gives you the thumbs up, we can come out and take a look at your set up. We can troubleshoot the wiring & the equipment and make recommendations for upgrades and fixes. You'll also want to verify that the network issue is consistent with other devices connected to the network. For instance, are all the computers, tablets, and phones slow or have an intermittent connection? Sometimes a single computer on the network can be the cause of a problem, try turning off all devices on the network and bring one online at a time testing the connection after each bootup. If you've tried everything, or just don't want to mess with it and need a professional to check it out, we'd be happy to come out and help.
