This is an amazing place to just relax and enjoy the family. Love taking kids to watch movie at Amphitheater. The swim area was clean and beautiful and a great place to walk and explore. I highly recommend rent camping here. So much fun and is safe and clean.

Just a great campground for family fun, camping, swimming, biking, fishing, kayaking, boating. Bathhouse is satisfactory and they have a dump station on site. Roving Staff and Rangers keep alcohol use in check. This campground is always at the top of our list!

We absolutely love camping here. The staff is amazing. The information given on the app is perfect. The views are breathtaking. Everyone is friendly here and all pets are welcome. Bring your boat or your swimming clothes and enjoy a day on the lake.

Nice campground, sites aren't overly crowded. This is a family campground so there are children playing during the day but it was always quiet after quiet hours (10:00pm).

All rv sites are $24. Tent sites are $18. (2019 prices)
Yes plenty of shade. Lots fun swimming fishing etc..
All power boxes have 50a 30a and 20a (with GFI) on the 20a plug.
Yes. You get senior rates at Bandit's Roost.
Technically not allowed but never had a problem. Keep it in a cup and on your site.
I believe it's $22 per night, but there are no sewage hookups. Only power and water.
Great place to stay with kids and pets
Yes and yes ....A beautiful place .
I don't remember having Wi-Fi. However, if you're expecting usable Wi-Fi in any campground, you are usually going to be disappointed.
Yes several sites.
I spoke to the attendant at the campground. They are at the kiosk until 8:30 p.m. They can give you a code if you call ahead that will work up until 10:00 p.m. after that the gate is closed and you'll need to wait until the next day to enter the campground.
4:00 pm. We always call ahead because you may be able to get in earlier if the site is empty.
I have Bark mobile and I have no problems.
All sites are for single camping units, u can put up a small tent with it though. ALL equipment must be inside timbers. Limit is 6 persons per site. There is one group site of 6 or 7 sites, gated privacy, u can rent for 85 bucks a night and split up the cost between ya.
They are closed until April
A total of 14 days in all of WK Scott campgrounds
Off 181? Out of Morganton.
All federal campgrounds are 14 days out of any 30 day period. You can't stay at the other two campgrounds either. If they catch u doing so, they WILL make u leave.
Absolutely not. Mobility equipment is the only exception. Attendent is the only one that has a golf cart.
I stayed last week and really enjoyed it. I can't count t the number if times I've camped there. Another close choice is Fort Hamby which is across the lake. Hope u have terrific camping experience. God Bless.
One camper and one tent or two tents per site. Tent campers can rent rv sites by the way. Limited to 6 people either way.
Reservations are limited to a six month window. People make them at 12:01am exactly 180 days out! So hurry if you want a good site.
Here in the South, I'm not sure. Maybe because people don't camp in the winter? Up North, stuff freezes.... Head to Florida or the coast - they're open..
Not this season (2019). Limited to campers and their guest The only day use permitted is visitor to campsite $5, boat ramp $5, and dump station $10. There are day use at Berry Mtn. Boomer park Warrior Creek and Ft. Hamby with picnic, swimming and playgrounds. Lots more room.
