They are all so sweet and caring. You can really feel the love they have for the animals they work for. They are also really great at asking questions to figure out what animal would fit you best as opposed to just trying to empty out the shelter. They are also so reasonably priced for their adoptions. I have adopted from here and am currently fostering to adopt and I will forever recommend this place!

Awesome place. We foster a dog from there. They're foster care program is awesome. There's way too many homeless dogs and cats out there so fostering an animal is awesome! You even get they're food and monthly preventive medicine from care stl when you foster an animal once monthly. I highly suggest giving the foster program thought if you are thinking about adding a pet to your family!

I don't think so 🤔... call Carol house quick fix pet clinic... 17.00 for rabies, and 17.00 for 5 in 1... also does spay and neuter
16 or with parental permission.
Tell the family member to pick up their dogs. They should be kenneling them or finding a proper sitter. I doubt they want their dogs on the street. You also can't legally sign someone's dogs over to a rescue or shelter without the owner's permission unless the owner has already relinquished ownership to you. The owner could very well sue you if you get rid of their dogs. You're in a bit of a bind. You have a legal right to contact their owner to give them back if you can't care for them. Find out your legal rights. Do your due diligence.

When you adopt your dog they will give you a full medical history and you should be able to access it on line just ask them at the facility and they can help you.
Thanks Smilee, I thought Ms. Julie was asking me, personally, if I'd a wish list for my Service fur Son 🤦🏽😜😘🐾🐕 Ms Julie, I pray you got your answer and Happy Mother's Day to ALLLLL the Fur Parents🐾
21 or older according to their website.
They are a no kill shelter. They only put cats to sleep if there is a medical need and not an other alternative. The cats they take in are typically housed at the shelter or placed in foster homes until they are adopted.
From the website: PUPPIES 1 year old and younger: $250 - $300 ADULTS over 1 year old: $100 - $150 SPECIALTY BREEDS/PUREBRED: rolling fee, please contact CARE STL's Adoption Team for more information. This fee includes spay/neuter services, vaccinations, microchipping, dewormer, initial flea/tick treatment, and heartworm testing.
No they do not euthanize. They are a no-kill shelter. They are wonderful people there who truly love the dogs. What kind of dog do you have?
From what I can see on their website that dog has been adopted but it's possible that they have not put him up yet so I would call them directly to make sure .
get a job and pay her medical bills
Simple answers often hide layers of complexity. They would need a parent or guardian present. There may be stipulations as to which of the animals you are allowed to work with. All that said, it never hurts to ask. Just give them a call during normal operating hours.
Attend a volunteer orientation! You have to be 18 to handle and walk the dogs. But, the cats are 8+!
Attend a volunteer orientation! They'll go over everything there. Not too sure about how old you have to be for the dogs. But the cats are always awaiting new volunteers! Young and old!
Walking dogs, cleaning kennels, do laundry, training, and most of all love. Many other needs to help raise money for the group, etc. It's very fulfilling and the dogs really need us.
Care STL works with animal control and takes care of the animals brought in. They work directly with the city. You have to call animal control to start the casework.
They are open 9-5 on Memorial day
Take him down there they will help you
You need to call a local vet or hospital. VSS is a specialty services they are not cheap
Idk about court appointed community service hours but would think you could get your hours anywhere that has volunteer opportunities. My son needs community svc hours to graduate high school and could get them anywhere he could volunteer. He liked picking up trash in the parks over in St. Charles county, especially near the dog park. About thirty years ago, I needed hours for juvenile court and got them at the Animal Ctrl that used to be in Seven Hills Drive in Florissant. I don't think it'd there anymore. You should check with the Humane Society. They're in need of volunteers. The best thing in any instance is to call them. This is a community forum. We can only guess on our best day. You may want to ask the court or your P.O. for referrals since your work schedule is tight, or you will need to change your work schedule or request off until you can get the needed hours.
Yes! It's highly dependent on age though. But, if you can prove you're responsible. Go for it!
That was the Humane Society of Missouri you would have to contact them they're great people hope everything works out good have a good day
