I've lived all over the country and this is, BY FAR, the worst police department I've ever dealt with. They take their sweet time responding to serious issues... like a known stalker attempting to break into your home! Sometimes they do not show up at all, even when you're telling the dispatcher you're fearing for your life. Are you kidding me? However, a couple a block away has a non-physical altercation and four cruisers show up? Talk about priorities out of whack. Lazy, incompetent, and no clue how to prioritize calls. Gee, can't imagine why the crime rate is so high for a city this size. 🙄

Worst police department I've ever (or never actually) seen. When people call the police it would be nice if they actually showed up. Most recently called to report a burglary and I was rerouted to a different dispatcher who doesn't answer his phone until you call 20+ times. Then the guy says he's calling back to take my report. He never called. I called 4 more times and still no report via phone and no officer ever showed up. This is only one instance of this, there are others. Nice to see where my tax money goes. It's certainly not for them to protect and serve apparently.

Police presence really picked up in areas where it was needed! Very impressive!

Stuck with a coolant leak on the side of the highway and they waited the 1.5 hour for my tow with me. Kind officers!! I had my wallet stolen recently so no drivers license (had ID and police report of stolen wallet from two days ago). Very thankful for them as it was storming and their lights helped me feel better about being seen

Questions & Answers

Why are the majority of the city officers overweight and out of physical condition to meet the actual qualified physical condition of the requirements to be a police officer?

Not sure, they sure leave a lasting impression of not fight in for justice; that might require moving, I've dealt with two that maybe half ads cares!!

These people deal with a lot of b******* everyday and are still very calm cool collected and very respectful to the people that they investigate even if the people are assholes I have the utmost respect for them

Okkk bootlicker, most are prices that don't do they're job....its just a paycheck, they are not trustworthy, professional, city police just use the badge to bully and use the power of that badge to exact revenge if the don't agree with you.

If he works for the police department he would know all you'd have to do is run your name and you even know your house number
