Beautifully kept grounds and people working the grounds stop while a service is held in the shelter provided for them. Make sure you ask to have the 21gun salute and taps so the local volunteers will be there otherwise it’s on tape.

There is a serenity at the cemetery that I have never felt before. Rest In Peace my beautiful wife until we meet again

Took flowers to put on son's grave. Real flowers are required. No water, anywhere, in the cemetery. Sad

At least on Memorial Day (in addition to other events at the Cemetary for that occasion) small flags are placed by Boy Scouts at every grave .in addition to all the larger ones along the. roads It is quite a sight if you've never attended .Its like having our own little "Arlington"..quite a jewel!
Local Funeral Homes can make arrangements upon request for the Interveterals Burial Detail to perform. It isn't actually graveside but in a permanent shelter used for that purpose
