I have worked at Heritage Place since October 2009. After reading several negative reviews I had to comment, too. There are many hardworking, caring nurses and CNAs that give our residents excellent care. Several reviewers are absolutely right. Welcov,,,,our previous owners ruined our faciliy's good reputation by poor management practices that resultedi n bankruptcy and numerous lawsuits. Lantus took over Aug 1, 2018 and have worked really hard to improve patient care, staff morale and wages and restore community confidence in a previous well respected facility. To date, Heritage Place is one of the few long term care facilities in the valley that isn't going through a Covid 19 outbreak

Would never recommend this place to anyone, worst place in the Flathead Valley to take care of your family member, the nurses and aids do just the minimum amount of care.

Horrible HORRIBLE place!!! My 54 yr old brother had a stroke that left him right side effected and a bad case of aphasia and Apraxia. He went here after his rehab at KRH where he was making progress walking. Within the 2 months he was there he was in the ER 3 times and finally admitted to the hospital where he had to have a blood transfusion and a surgery to drain a HUGE hematoma down the right side of his body! All this was caused by the neglect of the staff. They would not help him out of bed and he attempted to transfer himself into his wheel chair. He fell and hit his head (which they lied about until later), his knee and his right hip. After questioning why he looked over dosed they said he did NOT hit his head and probably needed to nap after the pain meds given for the fall. They put him to bed. Four hours later he was taken by ambulance to the ER for a CT of his head. He returned with a bad concussion. The staff did not follow ER instructions to treat the hematoma and he ended back up at the ER 2 days later! I filed a law suit for pain and suffering as he lost all progress with rehab, still can not walk on that right knee even after a year, and other conditions caused by their staff! They filed bankruptcy and avoided all responsibility for what they did. This incident was just the last straw, there was a mountain of things that happened before this 3rd fall. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PLACING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!
