I have been calling and all I get is a voicemail with all these websites that are so confusing. I’m considering filing a state hearing just to get answers to my questions. I just moved to the area from a small town that had a better set up than this.

Kathy Wright | Oct 15, 2021

i called for 3.5 hours straight forev i got an answer

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO GET AHOLD OF SOMEONE AT THIS OFFICE

Ashley Parkman | Oct 16, 2018
Kristin Dawn T. (Krissy) | Oct 16, 2018

I have no earthly idea, Adams county jfs answers right away, maybe because they have bigger population to serve in clermont. Every time I call its at least an hour n a half guaranteed on hold :/

Yes its literally impossible to get ahold of someone idk why they even give people a number to call honestly but the social security department is even worse if you can imagine that

Rebecca B | Oct 16, 2019
Craig Becker | Oct 16, 2019

If you want to use the number try calling the minute it opens. Its either 8am or 9am and just stay on hold they will get to you. If you wait like a half hour or hour after they open you will wait longer. Honestly though, just go up to the job and family services building. I always just drive up there it tends to be faster and easier that way. If you cant make it there just try calling the minute they open.

I applied for Medicaid for my son months ago, still no response. When will I ever do d out if he has qualified. I can't call and ask bc no one ever picksup or returns messages.

Figgy Jones | Oct 15, 2020
Torri Turner | Oct 15, 2020

This is the same problem I’m having. They make it so hard to get help thru them 😤🤬

Do you guys provide medical transportation?

Pamela Apgar | Oct 16, 2019
Mike Bryant | Oct 16, 2019

The insurance provider you choose for Medicaid (i.e. CareSource, Molina, etc.) provides the transportation. Look on the back of your card for the number.

Regina Delaney | Oct 16, 2018
Mr. Stacey | Oct 16, 2018

Call and report it

when are we going to get are ebt reload this month?

Debby Ross | Oct 1, 2022
Elizabeth Edwards | Oct 1, 2022

I think they reload the cards in three times a month based off of alphabetic order. 1st group of so many in the beginning of the alphabet in the beginning, next group middle, last group towards the end of the month. Now it may have changed, but that is how it was done years ago. Life has found me needing the help again. Mine are loaded on the 18th of each month like clockwork. In your DJFS paperwork it should list your case worker and phone # ... I would call and ask. That will honestly be your best way to find out.

I have custody of my grandson, how does the mother get custody back?

Elizabeth Palacios | Apr 18, 2022
Karen Ford | Apr 18, 2022

The mother would need to file for custody in juvenile court. To get full custody, mother would have to show the current guardian is unable to care for the child. Or the current guardian could sign custody back over to her.

Can I sign up for food stamps with them? And can I do it on the phone instead of in person?

Nicole Redmon | Oct 15, 2021
Jack Morris Cole III | Oct 15, 2021

Yes you can file for food stamps at this place but I don't think you can do it over the phone best is to just go there and they will help you through it best of luck to you

I am a trustee for a family trust and need to know how I can disperse money to someone who is currently receiving assistance. I do not want them to lose their assistance due to their medications and medical care and the Trust specifies this.

Sue Strayer | Oct 15, 2020
Ashley Gilpin | Oct 15, 2020

When I applied it specifically asked if I have any trusts in my name, so I'd assume they already know your client has the trust, but I'm not a lawyer.

This is his girlfriend, I have no legal documents and I'm trying as hard as I can to get them but I'm pregnant and I need medical insurance. Is there any type of help I could get?

Dylan Stanze | Oct 16, 2019
Craig Becker | Oct 16, 2019

If I were you I would contact the county you were born in and figure out where u need to go to get the documents you need like social security card and birth certificate and a personal I.d. would help you too. This will help you get medical insurance. Honestly I think youd benefit from talking to a case worker in your county. If you're in clermont go to job and family services and talk to them theyll probably have u fill out paperwork and maybe get u to talk to a case worker. Also theres a place in amelia called greater cincinnati behavioural or used to be called life point. They have case workers there too who can help u figure out a game plan to help you out now and for your future. Best of luck to you. Clemont county is really good with helping people and the people at job and family services have always been nice and helpful to me the past 6 years or so I been going there.

Can we have the tanf funds direct deposited to our bank account and not put on the epic card? So we have access to all our funds and not have to pay for every transaction

Brian Fox | Oct 16, 2019
Paula Wright | Oct 16, 2019

Yes, tell them next time you get a review. My card was in my child's name and no one would let me use it. She needed an ID at age 8 in order for me to use it!

Unfortunately they can take up to 30 days to process anything. Hopefully they won't, but if it's a matter of life or death I would call them and see if they can expedite the process or see if they have any other suggestions. Good luck! I hope everything works out for you!

Does the job and family services in clermont county have a drop box I need to turn in my renewal packet and my one from last year got "lost" in the mail. But by the time I'm able to go to their office they are closed!

What if someone has a Medicaid card from Clermont County but does not live in Clermont County and they live in Hamilton County? Is that considered medical fraud?

Wayne | Oct 16, 2017
LiveLearnGrow Always | Oct 16, 2017

No it's Ohio Medicaid. Which means it's good for anywhere in Ohio and some Kentucky areas. You can just call and have them update your address over the phone.
