It's highly suggested but didn't seem totally necessary. Keep in mind, if you don't you may be there a while. They will only see one customer to one team member at a time, so until it's your turn you'll be waiting in line outside.

Most automated systems once you start getting prompts hit zero it should put you directly thru at some point. You may get out on hold by them but at least they will answer
