Absolutely a waste of government funding. They don't do anything! Many people, agencies, teachers, government officials agree. My grandma is an ex mayor of Paramount and was saddened by the lack of help/ resources they provide. Case workers are useless, if you even get one. And if you don't have one the Program Manager will never return your call. The only thing this agency is good for is updating the annual ISP so they can look like they work to the government to continue getting funded. I am going to attend the self determination workshop in July 2022 so I can get the support my 2 sons need because they do nothing at this agency. Why does this middleman agency even exist, they don't fund anything. They should cut the entire budget for case workers and put it all into the Self Determination Program and give the clients a larger budget. They don't even have knowledge about programs available. They are not there to help the people, only to gaslight them and our government into thinking they are necessary. The only program they are mediocre ok for is the Early Intervention Program. After that they are just a waste of government spending.

My previous review was this: "Dr. Ashley and Teacher Sal are great. The support for parents is amazing and the help is greatly appreciated" but now I am saddened to say I am very disappointed with the Regional Center. I was promised an Amazon gift card for that review which I never received but more importantly, the lack of communication and disregard for our well being has been made through time. I am extremely disappointed with my case manager and fear for the others who are new to this place. Let's just say, I am looking for an attorney, any recommendations?

Receptionist is very quick to transfer or not pick up at all. I’m always getting sent to voicemail. They are very slow in returning calls. They have had my sons case for quite some time and are unable to generate a report of findings. I’m at a standstill and I’m very uncomfortable with trusting this facility and it’s workers will be able to assist my child in the care he needs.

We just went to their take a picture with Santa event. I can never say enough good things about this place and the super friendly staff. They really do care about our kids and it shows with every single action and heart felt smile from the volunteers. The gifts handed out were great and the siblings also got gifts as well. Keep up the great work guys you are appreciated.
