It is Longer to load and unload.
Usually leaves one landing or the other every 1/2 hour. Faster if thete ate 2 ferries running.

Unless there's heavy fog or the river freezes, the ferry runs on schedule. Rain, snow, or sleet doesn't seem to bother boats much.
