Fairly Sweet
Mrs. Crawford is amazing. She is very attentive and prompt. Her and her staff truly go the extra mile. She went above any beyond with assisting my parents with things that they needed and always kept us informed on next steps.

Report them son. I admire your bravery. Ignore the taunts of the stupid & criminal like " Shaytisha Pope" who tell you to mind your business. She and they fear people like you who will make a difference by sending their criminal asses to prison where they belong OFF of the teat of the american taxpayer once and for all. Stand for something or fall for anything. Again, I admire and congratulate your courage & spine. But watch your back. Criminals like Shaytisha cannot be trusted EVER. You never have to worry about the cops hurting you. Just these scumbags.
@ which location did you apply? You said you got letter for an appointment? Did you go to the appointment?
Do not rely on this alone come up with more plans and execute them properly. The MS Gulf Coast has no shelters according to United Way 211 (Rescue Mission for Men is available). When a person gets their apartment they hold on to it for life. This is not an area to get into a bind with living circumstances. You have to vacate this area and migrate somewhere in another state, but have a good plan and know what you will be against.
It just depend on the income limits
I feel that they will help u.good luck
Hey Brenda, the phones ring to everyone all day long. Who are you trying to reach? Do you have a specific question I can maybe answer for you?
Our section 8 is currently closed at the moment but we do have two other programs that you may be eligible for. Please stop by your nearest housing authority and ask the front desk for applications. :)
Help?. Could you be more specific? I would be happy to assist.
Yes Assisted Housing ( Section 8) is one of the programs through MRHA #8
What kind of appeal? It usually depends on that. Bc some appeals can be handled jz by talking to supervisor or you may have to call the regional office in Jackson if you are in Ms. Sometimes you have to call a lot and leave voicemails, but don't give up if you feel you've been wronged. Also #211 can sometimes give you information on who you may need to call depending on the situation. You can also file a complaint Ms Housing Authority/HUD office in Jackson. I don't have their number with me right now but you can get it off the internet or possibly from the 211 number. Hope it all works out for you. God bless. ❤️
It depends on how much income and also the amount someone wants for rent
You need to put in writing to ur land lord what is not working also give a copy of it to housing. They will contact him. Also u have to keep paying ur portion of the rent if u have one. Housing will take care of everything else.
Go up there. They aren't letting people in but they have a drop box & will come 2 the door if you knock.
Yes you should definitely report them but go to your landlord and let them know. They can not put you out over that, it would be discrimination.
They had a phone number on the door but knock on door they in there
Enterprise income verification it's a way that all the government systems can verify information (food stamps social security child support whatever) I hope this helps
Go to any of the apartment complexes that deal with the housing authority they should have the application and yes you probably will be put on a waiting list unless they have immediate openings
I guess you would send the request to 10430 Three Rivers Rd.Gulfport I think they will have to make sure you don't owe the landlord any money
Anyone can let us know. Either family or the landlord of the home.
I now live out of state
Yes you have to be working a year and 40 hours a week
You can view the assisted housing and affordable housing locations (Not section 8) online and print an application. But they do not accept them online at this time. Both applications are at the front desk of your nearest Housing Authority and will be glad to help you with any other questions you may have about the programs.
There are way too many to name here, but the housing authority has a listing at the front desk of places that accept the vouchers. Swing by Monday through Thursday 9am to 4pm.
Yes ma'am. Project Based housing and Affordable Housing.
Go down to the office and inquire about it. Make sure you stay updated with all information
I not sure but I know that I they are u need to go over there an see but I think they are
If you are evicted you are barred from reapplying for our program for 3 years. If they provided us with an order where you owed a balance and you reapply after the three years, you must pay that balance.
You will be watching the mail for your scheduled appointment time and date. If it was for the housing choice voucher, you are waiting on your briefing. If it was for our Project Based housing, you are waiting for your bedroom size to become available at the apartments you have selected. We are open Monday through Thursday 9am to 4pm. :)
We have two programs accepting applications at this time, Project based and affordable housing. You can get either application at the front desk of any of MRHA VIII locations.
They do
Utility checks are mailed between the 1st and 5th of every month.
The process depends on how long it takes for people to rise above poverty. If 50 families live in project based housing for 10 years and only two families move out within eight of those 10 years then it is unforseen for how long it may take for you to even become recognized in the system.
It can take two years or more.
You have to press 9 for a list of departments and then press the number for the department that correspond with the reason for your call. The way the phone system is set up it throws alot of callers off.
What are you appealing?
You will need to contact our intake department . The waiting list moves daily for each program. So we will not be able to give you time frame, but, we can verify that you still are on the waiting list.
No unfortunately we're not allowed to know that kind of information. Possibly bc we might learn things they don't want us to know. Such as our paperwork just laying there gathering dust. Lol! 😂
It could be years
