We all had a great time. This is a must-see if you're visiting our area. The toddlers in our group are now obsessed with trains and won't stop playing with our wooden train set! They want to go back right away.

My mother, my sister, my austic son and I visited recently and we all enjoyed the visit. Even if you only like model trains just a little you will most likely enjoy a visit too. It is an inexpensive wonder filled experience.

Yes there is.
We have some Lionel and HO model steam trains that produces smoke. We typically do not run the smoke producing ones on every day operations, you will need to ask the staff about those.
No club that is associated with the museum
They have a selection there and try ebay.
The museum does have a gift shop with a selection of starter train sets including HO, along with some selection of individual cars. It is not a full fledged scale train store.
Yes, we are - we will start the Christmas Lights show Black Friday, the hours will be 5-9PM 7 days a week until January. The museum hours are from 12-5PM Tuesday - Saturday.

I'm a patron of the center, I can state they have TONS of other cars and engines that they can swap out... not so sure about the layouts, and the out door stuff is seasonally decorated

There is not an admission "fee", however they do ask for a donation to continue the upkeep for this very unique place.
