Gorgeous mid-century interior, great views from every tier. Can’t beat the incomparable ballets and showcases.

The David H Koch theatre us still beautiful no matter what they call it, but not many will know who he is or was. Who is this person and why was it necessary to name it after him. Was it because the Philharmonic was named after Avery zFisher?
