Roughly an hour 15 minutes. They ask you arrive 30 minutes before departure. Also, once you've arrived at your destination, allow time for unloading if you're driving on board. Unloading can take anywhere from a minute to 15 minutes depending upon where you're vehicle is situated in the ferry.

Never paid attention to them checking for inspections. But be careful you shouldn't be driving on the road ways anywhere. And if you get caught driving the crew not letting you board will be the least of your problems lol. Driver safe and be careful.
