Walk ons do not need reservations only vehicles and vehicles only some of the time
Only a vehicle needs reservations, come early if on foot.
No reservations needed; that's only if you are taking a car on board. If you arent, just make sure to be there a little early just in case any changes in the schedule occur (which isn't a usual thing).
No need for reservations. Just show up about a half an hour before the departure time. The drop off location is at the bottom of the hill in downtown Port Jefferson. Can't miss it. Enjoy! 🙂
No you can pay as walk on right at the dock. Be a little early.
Reservations is really only needed if you are taking a vehicle on ferry for walk ons you just show up pay the fare and away you go just get to ferry 30-45 early

You can go into the office ans purchase tickets within about 30 minutes of the departure time
Foot traffic typically does not need advance notice.
