They have a class action lawsuit against Progressive for conspiracy to commit fraud and significantly underpay claims for total loss auto accidents. Who wants to do business with a corporation that knowingly commits fraud??? NYCM Insurance and Dryden Mutual Insurance are just as bad and also conspire to commit fraud. It's extremely easy to sue an insurance company and win, most settle out of court.

I called a Progressive agent this week to inquire about my rising bill yet again. He informed me that I was actually lucky that my bill was only going up about 5% because NYS is a huge liability state because of fraudulent claims. He informed me that ALL rates across NY were going up 10 - 20%. So once again like usual we are all paying for other people's greed and during a pandemic crisis were are economy is tanking and people are losing jobs and ironically driving A LOT less all of are rates with Progressive are going to go up significantly. Doesn't make sense to me and I am going to spend tomorrow making some phone calls to switch carriers.
