I have been coming to this practice for 12 years and while my experience with Dr. Phillips and the clinical support staff was great as always, my overall patient experience was poor. I was trying to get a birth control refill. The pharmacy contacted the practice daily for a week. I also called and left a message on the nurse line. No call back to either party. I was due for an annual eval so tried to schedule online. No availability. I called the practice and was on hold for 33 minutes before someone picked up the phone to schedule me for the same week. I arrived at the practice and was told that using the QR code to check in was mandatory. After having several issues with my insurance card not loading to the online app I went to the desk where I apparently interrupted snack time for the frumpy front desk attendant who then grudgingly completed my check in. I realize that many businesses are being forced to lean on technology due to the labor shortage but there's a balance of not allowing your staff to use that as an excuse to not interact with patients.

Very good experience with the nurses, doctor. Excellent hospital. The front staff (not all) looked too tired and kinda disinterested .. & understandably so. The doctors were very nice but seemed just a little bit in a hurry but that’s nothing to complain about. The directions, however, were unclear if you’re going for the first time. You don’t know which building your doctor is at.. so I would’ve appreciated knowing that in the email/message notifications. Also, to call them for an appointment for the first time is a nightmare. You call them multiple times, it goes to voicemail and they don’t really return your call sometimes. That’s something to be improved..

Even they answer, it's really hard to get the appointment and get it right, unfortunately...
Savy, Yes we have been having issues with our phone system. If you need to speak with a nurse, please utilize your Patient Portal. If you need to schedule an appointment, you can reach someone directly at 512-533-4139. Thank you.
They require a $200 deposit and the rest at the end of the appointment.
There has been a terrible staff shortage in so many drs offices. I suggest sending a message to the nurse and asking for help.
