Fun lil get away. Quiet cabin. We stayed in the hen den. Short drive to the pool and lake.

Rating 3 starts because we had a good time fishing. My husband and son went on a boat ride and loved it, and the swimming pool was nice. Perfect for a hot day as the water was cold and refreshing. We rented The Bear Shack, which is right off the lake, so while I understand the amount of bugs and spiders it still was a bit off-putting. Found several spiders in the bed. The place needs a good dusting, there were spider webs everywhere we turned. The price was reasonable for what is included in the stay, though. If you are hot natured and you’re staying in The Bear Shack, I would recommend bringing a box fan.

This place is a hidden gem. We stayed in the Texas rose, the smallest cabin, and it was perfect for 2 people. We brought our dog who loved being out on the water. A nice little pool ans it was great having the boats available for use. We enjoyed grilling out at night too. We had everything we needed. Thank you Sandy!

Yellow Rose is a great place to go and relax, fish, swim and enjoy your family or just a quiet weekend alone. Sandy has the cottages decorated so cute and they are so comfortable. Kitchen, bathroom are completely stocked with everything you need. Bedrooms are stocked with good linens. There is also a pool, boats and a great lake.
