Beautiful library, lots of table space to spread out a project. A little loud, glad I brought headphones or it would have been hard to focus. Selection of newspapers from around the world was a nice surprise, as was the coffee bar.

We offer art lectures on a regular basis by both art historians and artists but are not offering art classes at this time. These may be of interest to you: on October 17, 2019, and November 21, 2019, artist Frank Porcu will conduct a lecture at Port Washington Public Library at 3 pm and lead art workshops those evenings at The Art Guild of Port Washington. We will offer a floral arranging workshop on Monday, November 25 with Joan Smith with a Thanksgiving theme.
Hi! Our Lapham Meeting Room will accommodate food and refreshments, but we ask that you reserve that meeting space ahead of time and speak with a staff member (a link to reserve a meeting space is available on our website). We have a snack area in the lobby of our library and we ask that food and drink be enjoyed in that location. Please contact us if you have any other questions! Thank you!
Carolyn, Ms. Himel's artwork is on exhibit from May 2 through May 30, 2019 on the Lower Level Adler Art Gallery at the Port Washington Public Library. Hope you enjoy!

Hi Elsie, We don’t have a lawyer for that purpose, but we do have books on this subject. The following are all in our circulating collection: Renters’ Rights: the Basics (346.7304 P) Every Landlord’s Legal Guide (346.7304 S) Neighbor Law (346.7304 N) In addition, one could call the Nassau County Bar Association or the New York State Bar Association Lawyer Referral & Information Service. Please note, Google does not allow us to post phone numbers or email addresses (they use a spam filter). We can give you the phone numbers for both Bar Associations if you call us directly. Please let us know if we can help further. Kind Regards, Port Washington Public Library
We will have a notary here today from 5pm-9 pm
Hi! We actually have three 3D printers available for use - a MakerBot 5th Gen filament printer (25.2 x 19.9 x 15 cm build plate size), a Formlabs Form2 resin printer (145 × 145 × 175 mm build size), and a Prusa i3 MK3 filament printer (25 x 21 x 21 cm build plate size). All of these 3D printers were made possible through generous support from the Friends of the Port Washington Public Library.
