The assistance given by the staff at McNaughton's is enequaled. There really have the healthiest looking plants in the area. It's my "go-to" nursery for plants and whenever I have questions about horticulture.

It is best to fertalize when you are seeing new growth. If you want to stimulate root growth in the fall to get through the winter use bone meal. Nitrogen in the winter will just make the plant vulnerable to frost damage.
