My newborn son needed a retest for something that had been done at the hospital. Upon arrival, I was greeted with fear and confusion, told that they didn't know if they could treat a baby. After waiting in the second waiting room, hoping my son wasn't picking anything up from the crowd of people the staff had stuffed in there, I was brought back for the test. Again, I was greeted with fear and confusion as the staff member went to talk to coworkers. Finally, one staff member arrived who knew what had to be done. Of course, they were completely unprepared to do that, lacking the basic equipment for the test. I asked if they could help me because otherwise I had to leave. I was reassured they were capable of getting the required sample. They then attempted and failed to draw blood in an alternate method as my son screamed. They put a bandage on him and I got him out of there as fast as I could. This location utterly failed me and my son. It would be negative a million stars if that was possible. Words can't express how angry I am.

Absolutely horrible. They allow appointments for pediatric patients and have no ability to fullfil the appointment and make not apologies or explanations. Apparently they have never had the ability to draw pediatric samples within at least the past 12 months. Don't put your child through the fasting and torment, or any other trouble. Try using CHOP at egg harbor township if you have insurance. Lapcorp is the DMV of blood work.

Truly 5 Stars! I was just there for pre-op bloodwork and I have to say that THIS LabCorp office was the best lab services location I've ever been to in my life. The ladies there were incredibly courteous, friendly and professional. From the front-desk, to the check-in to the phlebotomist/medTech - they were all great to deal with. Everything went smoothly and quickly, although I arrived before 8AM. I am a "tough stick" for bloodwork but the tech that worked with me rocked it by getting me on the first try and taking two vials before I could count to 20. No bruising either. After going to many other labs, I just can't get over how good of an experience this was. Great Job Somers Point LabCorp Team!!!!!! Thank you!
