We booked a boat for the day at Lake Jocassee. We have stayed there a few times but, we were really excited about touring the lake in our own pontoon boat. We were rained out that day and received a rain check. We were told we had a year to rebook the trip. I called 2 different times with questions on when I had to book the trip by. Both times I was told it had to be booked before the year was up. Both times asked if we could book in October for my birthday weekend. Both time I was told yes. When I called to book it I was told that it could not be out side of a year and that that year expired tomorrow. I was then told that they were very clear about the policy. They could have rented the boat one month pasted the expiration date and made almost $500 instead, they lost a customer kept my hard earned $204 deposit.

We rented on memorial day for $600, but on a summer Sunday 2 years ago we spent around $350. It's actually cool they pick you up in a bus at parking lots and then drive you to the docks get on your boat and enjoy!
I am not sure, they are primarily rental, but I am sure they would be willing to sell a used one. Not the place I would go if I was a serious kayaker looking for a rapids type set up. Tooling around on the lake, sure

Most rental homes are advertised on VRBO.com and there are several B&B's nearby that can be found on Google doing a search in Salem or surrounding areas.
We do not offer jet skis.
We do allow dogs on our standard pontoons.
