The staff, ramp, up keep is all great! The problem is the boaters not practicing proper etiquette, rules, and consideration. If you aren't completely ready to launch or load, get out of the line. If your trailer isn't in view and backing up while you are in the water, get out of the loading zone.

Well, until yesterday, I would have felt that is info is 100% accurate. I have launched boats at the remote ramp many times in years past. Then yesterday I heard that a gentleman wasn't allowed to do so. The only options I can think of is either the parking was full or they changed the rules. My best suggestion is to call the park directly and get the info straight from the horse's mouth. The head ranger is named Kevin if you want to just got to the top dog.

Yes open year round. Park fee $5 per adult. Seniors and children are less.

No charge for a boat launch, but the state park charges a parking fee of $5 per person.
