Staying by the side of the Quinnebaug River is like watching a GIANT screen TV turned into nature 24/7. Amazing place run by amazing people.

Very clean and tidy campsite in the middle of beautiful nature. Family business with very nice employees. There are many leisure activities available free of charge, such as billiards, table tennis, bowls, beach volleyball, ..... the toilet facilities are clean and modern. It is quiet on the site and you can always find a shady spot thanks to the many trees. We can only recommend this campsite.

I give only 4 stars because they don't have dog park and WiFi is not available in all of the campground. The staff are super friendly. It's clean and has a nice river and pool. They also have a small window order restaurant.

People do fish the river and even myself but only caught like small sunfish. Other than that it's an awesome peaceful place to camp. Love it and we go every year as our first camping trip of the season.....
Pretty relaxing. Not too fast so fairly safe for kids (with supervision).
Yes, the big bath house was just recently remodeled and Michelle does an excellent job of keeping them all clean!
No, but they are good to have on hand
Hi 👋 my husband and I have been seasonal campers at Hidden acres for many years. It all depends on what type of restaurant you're looking for. 5-10 mins from the camp you can find Chili's and Ruby Tuesdays if you're looking for family type places. If you're looking for pub food Pistol Pete's and Uncle Krankys are also about 10 mins away
