Bring lots of bug spray. Other then that they are very friendly and accomodating. We would definitely stay here again and for a longer stay. Kites store which is the office is a very friendly old time store where everyone meets for coffee and a breakfast sandwich.

Excellent experience all around. Emailed with Stan and got everything reserved and arranged. Showed up and everything was as promised. Stayed four nights and had a wonderful and relaxing time around the fire and kayaking and fishing as well. Everyone at the campground were respectful and I had heard that if people got out of hand here, they wouldn't be there long before getting run off. It made for a great solo week camping trip to unwind and I didn't want to go back to work afterwards.

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Was great to wake up or relax late in the day along the river. Was very peaceful while I stayed which was during the week. Not sure how weekends are. Bathrooms were clean and each site had its own trash can along the camp road which was convenient. Kites store was also very convenient for any things you forgot or needed during the stay. Stan was there to help with any questions and advice on places or routes to take. Was so close to Luray caverns and skyline drive. I'll definitely be going back again in the future.
