The Farms at Mill Run is a great place to live. I would give it 5 and a half stars if I could. Raegan, the property manager, is amazing. She's attentive to tenants and always seems like she knows what she's doing. The pH level of the soil is a bit high. It seems to have increased considerably since I've been here, though that may just be natural fluctuations. I'm a single parent, and it costs a lot to raise Rhododendrons here. I think it may be a nitrogen problem. Ascopyllum extract seems to help. And make sure to incorporate cover crops and judicious amounts of animal or green manure. Ask Raegan if you need help with that. She's really good. I've managed to bring my NPK ratio to about 3:1:2, though that did take close to 17 months. I've heard concerns about increasing ammonia nitrification rates here, but I've found them comparable to the general area. I've had denitrification losses (usually in late summer) and periodic nitrate leaching, but not severe. Raegan can help with that. And do bring manganese multiplier if you're moving here. But this place is great. Quite loamy. 100% recommend.
