Positive: Love the design of the junior suite, enough space for a small family. Negative: 1. The first hour in the room, we found a cockroach ruining on the floor. 2. When we checked in, one of the front desk staff communicated in a cold tone about an unexpected issue which ruined our previous good impressions of this hotel brand.

Hotel rooms seem to be updated within the last few years. We had a beautiful view of Tennessee Street in Tallahassee, including Doak in the back ground! Really cool perspective to see! Hotel seemed dead, other than proms and other events going on, and didn’t seem like anyone had stayed in our room in quite a long time, but it was comfortable & cute and fit the purpose of what we needed. Good location.

No microwave. No mini fridge. No hair dryer. Bath sink didn't drain. Hot tub was closed and roped off for the whole stay. Had a room right next to a whole baseball team so nights were long and loud with slamming doors. Had a 2 night stay as a gift from family members as a getaway, but would have rather stayed home. You're paying for location and downtown status. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Also charged $420 for the room on my card because of confusion at check in with the free certificate, and have still to be refunded. I've stayed in MANY other hotels with more accommodations for way cheaper.

The hotel is nice and interesting in shape. The employees we interacted with were friendly and tried their very best to accommodate our wants. I booked a king room but they overbooked so they put us in a 2 double bed room. That room did have a door that connected it to the room next door. There was not a fridge or microwave in our room. I'm not sure if they have them in any of the rooms. I think I heard one employee tell my husband the building was built in the 1950s and had been other hotel brands before the Sheraton. The breakfast was so so. You order from a menu and they cook it. We figured it would be better at a Sheraton. The bathroom in our room could use some updating. They have a little raised garden bed outside the restaurant windows which was really neat to see. And the grounds are done nicely with flowers. They had the cheapest pricing out of all the Marriott hotels in the Tallahassee area that night. We would stay there again. We were driving a 20' Uhaul truck and we didn't have any problems pulling in or out of the parking lot nor parking. The pictures are of room 1110 and looking out those windows.
