I was also trapped in this garage due to a credit card machine error. As the other reviews mention, only way to get out is to tailgate someone. The “help” numbers only take you to a random answering service that has no power to open the gate or actually get in touch with anyone who can. We were stuck for over an hour, waiting for a call back that never came, before we saw the other reviews and learned we would have to tailgate. Do not park here unless you have a bunch of time to waste.

By far the worst experience I've had with a parking garage in my life. We've been parking here for years when visiting Portland. On Friday 6/26 we pulled in around 5:45 to park and get a quick dinner. We came back at 6:45 and the garage was closed and a $70 unlocking fee had to be paid to the security guard for him to press a button and open the garage. No attendant was needed to come on site - a security guard literally pressed a button for $70. There was a small sign on the door that said it closed at 6:30. We park there all the time and did not think of looking around as things seemed to be operating normal. This happened to many people as we stood outside waiting for the guard to process unlocking fees for all of us to get our cars out. I will NEVER use this parking garage again. Please note your website (which people do check) says nothing about the change in hours.

Obscenely expensive at 180 per month, but in Portland, what can you do? The waiting list will be about 2-3 years- about the same as every other garage in Portland. I only got in because my company holds a few passes, so I rent from them. On the positive side, it's close to everything downtown, and it's open late, so I always have safe parking for evenings out. That's much better than the open lots (some of which are far from downtown) that close at 7!
