It was wetter than I expected for mid June, but it is the PNW and the coast so can’t really be mad about it. The campground was so peaceful and beautiful. There are 4 loops total, we stayed in loop 1. Site 37 has plenty of space it’s listed for 2 tents and there was room to spread out more. Some of the sites were muddier than others and we were lucky ours was pretty grassy and flat to avoid it. The bathrooms are spacious single toilet rooms. There are also shower rooms that are token operated. One token is 3 minutes although we were not able to figure out how to get the hot water running. The tokens you but at the entry booth $1=2 tokens. I liked that the beach was close to the campground it is a bit of a trek to get there.

This is a great place to go visit. A lot of different things to see from the grassy Sandhills the ocean and the state park. I like this place to camp and visit the ocean. The ocean is very long and has a lot of people on it. The big difference with this beach is that it is mostly sand and not a lot of rocks and in Washington state that's pretty rare. There are mosquitoes raccoons and small little squirrels that will try to get your food. Highly recommended for this location you must fill out a slip at the front office the door will be locked even though it says open which definitely is confusing. The form they have you fill out is also complicated and does not necessarily make any sense. You must purchase coins at the front to be able to use the shower the shower unfortunately is not very warm it'll get warm and then cold.

I was last here 3 years ago over Thanksgiving weekend so I knew sites flooded. But figured the really bad ones would be blocked out since nobody is in the really flooded out sites. Nope, I got the only flooded out pull thru spot (wasn't that way when I got here on Tuesday but all the rain on Thursday flooded it). Oh joy. Good thing I have boots in both the truck and trailer as there was over 1.5" by the trailer and more in other areas of the site. Plus the road in the middle of the loop was flooded and had stakes marking where you should drive

This looks like a great tucked in off the highway where you can really get away from it all. It's just off the Pacific Ocean in the PNW, so the weather might get away from you especially in the off season, but if you're ok with a little rain, you'll probably love this quiet green place. This state park definitely caters to the RV campers. Olympic Otter

Never saw one, I agree with Jessica most bring there own
Many people were playing when we were there.
Reservations are highly recommended; however, there is usually first come sites.
No, but camp check-in times are longer than normal park hours.
It depends on the site. It should be indicated on the website site description.
Here's your answer Straight From their website ☺. ..."Vehicle traffic is allowed seasonally on portions of the beach. Driving is allowed only on the uppermost hard-packed sand, and all the rules of the road apply, as on a public roadway. The speed limit on the beach is 25 m.p.h. All-terrain vehicles are not allowed in the park, on the beach, or dune areas"...
I'm not sure about monthly I know there is a limit to how long you can stay at the campgrounds it should be on there website or you could call them.
The higher numbered sights I know 140's and up. There should be a map of the campground online.
Nearby at ocean shores
Yes. Be sure to grab wood in Aberdeen or Hoquiam first. It tends to get more expensive the closer you get to the park.
Looks like you have your answers,.. But. If they are full, and shouldn't be. "Lake Sylvia" State Park is very nice. Very secluded feeling. You can view it of course on Google Maps. And just 30minutes from the ocean ☺
Cash, discovery pass, or disabled placards. They may take cards. But as most have envelopes for drop-in deposits. And check-in booths are not always manned, or ma'amed ☺ I would simply go by the above for convenient use. Enjoy And I now see an answer below about "Crossing Water". There is a stream that goes to the beach. But,.. As you leave the parking lot heading to the Ocean. You may see a crossing to the left, that goes over a stream. Take that. And once you get to the beach, you may see why ☺ Happy Trails
Didn't see any. There toll free number is a good way to be sure.
Because it is a State park it is $10 for day use or buy a discover pass for $30 and it is good for a year (and 2 vehicles) and will get you into any state parks without paying the day use fees. I would also recommend getting an annual pass for national parks as well if you are an avid visitor, as it will pay for itself in the first 2-3 visits to a national park.
Yes
No...the restrooms are very nice and have showers
I'm not sure. There were allot of walking trails And I don't believe they said no bikes. If nothing else bikes can be ridden all throughout the campground on the street
Yes but only in the rv side, we went there and they had the hookup for an rv and a separate hookup for normal 110 ac electrical hookups like in your home. Worked out great because we were able to have a heater, coffee pot, radio, battery charger and my cpap machine. We also used a tent, fair warning though if you reserve a space it is for one vehicle, so if you bring more than one its ten bucks a night per car. There is also cold water right at the camp spot too, but only if you get the rv spot and you are allowed to go there with just a tent.
