The staff was great especially the woman working the 3 to 11 shift. The breakfast was always hot and there was always plenty of food available. The rooms really clean and spacious.

Pool & Spa were very nice, good water temperature! Rooms were clean, and it smelled good! The only bad thing was but wasn't a problem to me at all was the toilet paper wasn't changed from the previous people who stayed before we had checked in wasn't changed to a new paper roll LOL. But that's about it. Over Hospitality was on point 100% and my kids felt safe around the environment. Will recommend staying here if your traveling:) The breakfast buffet has a PANCAKE MAKER totally worth it and yummy!!! Food was excellent 💞💞

Their "high season" rate is RIDICULOUSLY high, especially considering the meager amenities offered. I wasn't able to use my reward points and they wouldn't accept any of the usual discounts (re: AAA, military or senior discount).Over a multi-night stay, in-room coffee pods weren't replenished, trash was intermittently emptied and towels/bath mat were removed but not replaced. Had to go to the front desk for remedy. For the outlandish price paid, one would expect much more. Bottom line, if hotel guests are going to be charged a premium rate for their stay, the amenities should be commensurate. Currently, this hotel is far from that standard.

We needed to make a last minute trip to Winner, and the Holiday Inn Express in town is always our first choice. It happened to be in the middle of pheasant season, so it doesn't get any busier than this. With that said, the welcome from the hotel team is always warm and genuine, busy or not. The updates to the hotel from a guest room perspective, the lobby, and breakfast area were very well done. The housekeeping team did a great job of keeping the guest room and public areas clean. The Housekeepers are the unsung hero's in a hotel. The best part of our experience, every time, are the team members that we encounter, and those that are behind the scenes. Always warm, hospitable and genuine. They make the hotel a home. I have worked for a major hotel chain for over 37 years. Norma and the team a the Holiday Inn Express in Winner are the best of the best.
