Overpriced Chinese Japanese. Deceived by the review photos, we decided to give it a try. No doubt we were able to get a table on a Friday night walking in. What we have tried: - Braised pork belly - your standard braised pork belly although this is probably the best among what we tried. - Grilled eggplant - Radish salad - came with a tiny amount of mentaiko. pretty bland. - Uni soba - the broth tasted like the one that came with the pork belly. Despite the steep price tag, the uni was very low in quality. - Tuna tartare - the sprinkled fancy caviar couldn't mask the fishiness of the fish that's not fresh. We spent $70 here with a couple of glasses of sake, and we were not even half full.

It’s a nice place. It has a romantic environment. Definitely recommend for two people dating. Food is beautiful and tasty. The most amazing thing is Japanese toilet . 🤣

Entering the basement is a bit like entering a portal to Japan. Love the atmosphere and vibe. Just about everything on the menu is quality and delicious. The sake menu has good selection.

Does raw fish count? If no, then not really. They do have a very tasty seaweed salad.
