We have been going to Hagan-Stone Park since the late 80's. We love coming here to camp, for birthday parties, weddings and just walking the trails. Always pleasant staff. Always clean. The campsites, have electric and water and a dump station. We moved to Oak Island, but still enjoy coming to get away.

Delightful park & camping weekdays was quiet & peaceful. Large wooded sites for tent camping; older bathroom but kept clean. Friendly staff on the grounds. A find.

We rented the Arc Room here for my son’s 3rd birthday party and loved it! We will definitely be doing this again! Very clean and very open room rental. The staff made this whole process simple. Highly recommend

What a great place to stay! Beautiful campground. Very clean, convenient to Greensboro. Pool was very crowded and lots of unsupervised kids being dropped off. Besides this part this is a wonderful campground we are going back very soon.

They are clearing debris and making sure sites are flat and clutter free. I think they may be putting in more electrical sites also but not certain.
No, the only thing they have are 2 playgrounds and a swimming pool.
25 for a rig

Yes, by law you need a license to fish anywhere in NC unless you are on private property. You can be approached by Wildlife Officers at public places and state lands. At Hagan Stone Park they say it costs $1 per person to fish. However, you can go to where you want to fish and they will possibly come around to you. Personally, I have never been asked to pay!
I believe a cooler would be allowed but not alchoholic beverages are allowed at the pool
It's open at 8am to 8pm
It's like $20 a night , on camper site. Not sure if you get a discount for staying monthly. Usually does not matter how many people you have in your group.
Free for park unless you are using the pool or camping

They are still open in October, not sure of availability. Yes, there are 2 bath houses.
Not that I have seen. At least not where the little dock used to be.
Stalls in older bathrooms. I only used that one. Very clean though.
Hi Chris, In 2020, fishing at Hagan-Stone Park is free in designated areas, and can be done during park hours. You ask specifically about bass fishing... there are some bass in the ponds, but a park ranger told me that they're primarily stocked with catfish and crappie. Fishing is regulated by the NC Wildlife Resources Commission so individuals 16 years of age and older must possess a valid North Carolina Fishing License, and individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult in possession of a valid North Carolina Fishing License. Fishing from the bank is allowed, so come on out and wet a line!
yes you can
Yes
No they do not
Some of the bigger spots, yes, but it'll be tight. Ideally you'd want to stay in the c section.
Also a safety issue in case someone is is or having trouble.
Yeah, I worked as a lifeguard for several years and I went around the park in my off time all the time and saw plenty of others who did the same
Call the park and ask. Doesn't open till memorial day. Think it s $5
The most you can stay is 14 days. They dont want you to live there.
Rent a shelter near the pool and playground area, I think it's 50 bucks for two hours
I'm not sure if they even rent out the whole pool. People have season passes and it is almost always full.
There is no site for this weekend
The park books sites until approximately 7:50 with no prior reservation. Park closes at 8:00.
