Yes, by law you need a license to fish anywhere in NC unless you are on private property. You can be approached by Wildlife Officers at public places and state lands. At Hagan Stone Park they say it costs $1 per person to fish. However, you can go to where you want to fish and they will possibly come around to you. Personally, I have never been asked to pay!
Same never had to pay but yes ur supposed to have a license
My experience they have not asked for a license, jus a $1 to fish. Although I've had them, lol.. .
