Lovely little nature area!!There is a small parking lot here and a beautiful wooded area and trails to explore. There are some plants and flowers here and we small many butterflies and bugs. Go to the wooden pier overlook by the canal on the left side and see the abundant small crabs by the waters edge!Then continue down the path into the woods. This trail has plentiful benches to sit and contemplate in the midst of nature. No public bathrooms are here, but if you continue down the trail, you will come to a wooden bridge on your left.Cross it and travel down the side of the canal to the right. Bear to your left when you see the open green space by a library. This is Rex Meador Park and there are public bathrooms here in good order. I'm glad I found this beautiful natural area. Will be back to explore some more.
