Parking and camping area was in good shape. The trail is well cleared and the trail edge is open and full of native wildflowers. There is no trail map available, which makes plotting a course difficult. This section of the Cedar Creek trail system is either 0.86 miles if you follow the yellow blaze or could be 2-3 miles depending on which loop trail you follow. I had to use third party apps to figure all this out. In reality, we had to double back because we weren't comfortable with the amount of daylight and unknown length of trail left. . . We'd still like to try it again, probably starting a little earlier in the day.

Small, peaceful and not too far off the beaten path. Honor based pay, 14 day max stay, vault toilet and trail system. Some sites can be pulled into with smaller campers others you park along the camp road and pitch a tent. Good sized field for activities for larger groups or kids. Occasional road noise from main road, (usually louder vehicles like motorcycles and such). Please pick up your trash and don't be afraid to pick up from other's. Lets keep the land clean!

Overall great tent camping experience! Set in a picturesque pine forest, clean restroom, and multiple water spouts. Gate is closed to cars from 10PM-6AM so you don't have to worry about traffic, however front of the park is still open if you come in late. We visited mid-March during the week and there was only one other group. Trail head onsite for a nice hike. Nearby by farm noise was interesting - cattle off and on and a rooster starting at 4:15AM, but hey, it's free (suggested $8 donation/night). Highly recommend!

Yeah it's not to bad I like Dustin had about 2-3 bars of service in most areas and I have Cricket cell service
There really isn't anywhere to fish unfortunately. Camping and hiking is great though!
Park in designated areas. It's a picnic and campground. I've never seen it crowded. The most use I've seen is Scout group camping. Non-electric camping with pit toilets and a FEW covered kitchen/cooking tables
