Very nice little city campground in heart of covered bridge country. Full hookups and big rig friendly up to 40 ft. Some shade and mostly level sites. Connected to nice city park. Gravel sites and driveway so can be a little dusty. Very reasonably priced.

This is a beautiful park and well worth a visit, the Maze is aMAZIng, with the sundial in the middle. The area is well manicured, clean, and tranquil. There are tree stump carvings through out the park. The only downside is the park is not very HCA. The trail to Clark tower is a very rough gravel road, the paved road around the park does not have HCA ramps and one side of the Covered Bridge is inaccessible to those in chairs, we needed to go to the far side of the bridge to get in, and both sideswalks end at the bridge. Both pedestrians and vehicle traffic uses the same path around the park. Other than that it's a good place to visit.

Small campground just outside of the main square and perfect for a night or two. Some pull through sites for those of us with larger RV’s. We stayed at the end of April 2022 and had nice weather.

Beautiful RV park inside Winterset City Campground. Well maintained and clean. Perfect location for touring the city. We have a large/heavy motorhome and the back in site was fine. Great for walking/biking or enjoying gorgeous scenery.

We checked in and paid by phone only before we arrived. She told us what our spot number was and our name was posted on the spot when we got there for check in date and departure date.No one came around while we were there to check us for arrival time or the time when we left. We arrived at 2pm. A very nice RV park. Electric and water only at our spot. And dump station when lo leaving
We stayed there last summer in mid August. We stayed in a tent. We didn't have a reservation. Its a beautiful park!! We saw motorcycles there. Depending on when you are wanting to stay I'd do a reservation. Highly recommend this place!!
No you have to call ahead for reservations. It was full when we arrived, glad we had reserved a spot.
It is a beautiful smaller park, close to downtown for entertainment. Hookups and dump station available.
Thanks everyone. Splitter makes perfect sense.
