Poor experience. The location was good, but the spots were really narrow, we had no shade, and the tent areas were so rocky you couldn't drive stakes. Not well maintained. No staff onsite and only open when they happen to be there which wasn't much. Reservations messed up, wouldn't refund only credit. No TP or soap in bathrooms. Staff wouldn't get any till next day when cleaning crew comes so we went to Walmart and bought some for whole campground. Pretty poor to leave a full campground without sanitary supplies. Stalls are small and you have to hold doors shut. Some of the staff were cool, others not so much. We're definitely staying elsewhere if we come back.

Was thoroughly let down by this place. Our campsite and the check-in building were in desperate need of mowing and weed-whacking. Some of the grass was higher than ankle height, and random spots in our campground had super tall weeds. There was a lot of trash on our campsite when we got there, and a lot on the beach as well. The bathrooms were decently clean but were not stocked with soap and toilet paper, and when asked about the toilet paper the staff simply said all the campers would have to wait until the cleaning crew came the next day to restock (They said this on a Friday when the campground was packed). The staff were almost 30 minutes late bringing us canoes on the day we were scheduled to canoe, seemingly only coming after we called and asked where our canoes were. Also, this is the only campsite I've been at where you have to wear a wristband the entire time you're there. Overall, the location right next to the river and not far from diners and shops was nice, but the staff and facilities were worse than any of the other several campgrounds I've been to. The staff here does the bare minimum so I would recommend looking for a different campground.

Update:So even with them acknowledging that the charge on her debit card was a mistake they're not refunding her because people from our group left them bad reviews. Absolutely disgusting campground. Grass was tall. Bathrooms are beyond disgusting clogged, toilets, stall doors do not close, no toilet paper and the ceiling has cracks in the supports like the office above it is going to cave in.. The seating in the rafts were broken so you can't sit unless you're on the side of the raft and they are dirty and stained. If I could give 0 stars I would. Oh and to top it off they took an extra $50 off my friends debit card today. Shady Beach or River Ranch are the places to go. DON'T STAY HERE

Staff was EXTREMELY RUDE. we got on the first available bus for tubes. Had to wait 30mins for the bus driver to finally agree to take us stating "not enough people". But other busses where packing up leaving no problem. We get to the drop off and they had no tubes available. We where the first group their waiting for tubes. We got given purple tubes and found 1 of them had a hole. Went back to get another and where misdirected away. Came back cause we where misdirected to a line of 15 people waiting for tubes. We asked if we could get just 1 since we where truly first and only needed 1 tube to our group of 3.... vs these groups of 8. We where told no and if we wanted to complain about it "they make sure we where dead last to get our tube" VERY APPLAUD WITH THE TREATMENT. we paid for a cooler tube and non where available. Waist of $25. Can barely find campsites that aren't on the rocks. Half the plug ins at the camp sites dont work. NOT WORTH THE MONEY. WILL NOT RETURN. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TRASH.

The water is at 5 feet on the gage near Tiff City, a normal level. Perfect for floating not too high not too low.
Probably during the weekdays. Weekends are normally very packed
Labor Day Monday we open at 9 am.
