This is disgraceful. It is expressly prohibited by law & against library policy. It is disgusting & sets a terrible example for people entering the library. Speak to Dennis about directing security to enforce this rule immediately.
Yes you can, the Queens library at merrick boulevard is open from Monday to Thursday at 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. And on Friday it is at 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For Saturday and Sunday it is at 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A very pleasant library to stop by and get all the information that you may need. Stop by on day and you will love it
The Central Library doesn't have parking, however there's parking available across the street from the Library, also on 89th, and 90th, Ave, there's parking as well.
Mr. Ke John, Both of the Local Guides gave you all of the information that you needed. Make sure you bring your Library card w/you, or you won't be able to use the computer.

The Central Library has English classes and it runs like a college semester. The Fall session classes started in September and will end in December. Applications for the Fall session were available in late July, early August. The Spring session will start in January and end in May. Applications will be available in late November, early December.
The cyber center is open 12 PM - 4:45 PM on Sundays. You need an active library card to sign up for a computer for 1 hour per day and you are allowed 20 pages of free printing per day.
We do not have any certificate course for a central service technician. Not exactly sure what type of course you're looking for but it sounds more like a course you may find at a trade school.

Yes, there is a free class for beginners. Unfortunately, I think registration for the class in the central queens library branch might be closed. You can always go to the Queens Library website or download the app on your phone to look at all the programs they have for their location and schedule. For example, the Bellerose branch and the Bayside branch are having English classes (ESOL) this upcoming monday, January 29.

Cancel all the cards that you have in your wallet. Go to the library and tell them you've lost your card. You'll have to pay $2 replacement fee though.
