Knowing exactly how far along you are in pregnancy can be confusing. Pregnancy symptoms are different for each woman and make for an unreliable guide to determine where you are in the gestational period. So exactly how does one determine their date of conception or due date? While a pregnancy test may be the most accurate way to find out, here are a few other things to consider: https://www.availnyc.org/how-far-along-is-my-pregnancy/
If you are visiting Avail for the first time, you can expect to be warmly welcomed at the door. After you fill out some basic paperwork, you will meet privately with a client advocate, who will facilitate Avail’s pregnancy-verification services (if applicable to your situation). Your client advocate will also offer you a decision-making tool that will help you process your pregnancy options. Avail’s client advocates practice reflective listening, and everything discussed in your appointment is completely confidential. If you are facing an unexpected pregnancy, you may fear being judged or pressured. At Avail, you will find the opposite. Our staff and volunteers strive to treat others the way they would want to be treated and are non-judgmental, respectful, and supportive. Many of Avail’s clients return for ongoing support after their initial appointment.
